Course Objectives :
This highly participative and intensive workshop is targeted at those with

responsibility for staff recruitment and management in a small, medium and large

organisation, irrespective of sector.

1. How to analyse the staffing  needs of  your organisation , carry out job analysis and put together a job description for different posts.

 2. How to recruit, select and induct staff effectively in an organisation- different approaches to recruitments, their pros and cons and how to implement them

3. What you need to know about working within the laws in the UK and useful knowledge hubs to access support staff recruitment and induction.

 

 

4. How to effectively motivate and manage staff performance to ensure they realise maximum productivity for the organisation. Different motivational tools will be explored as well as their pros and cons.

 

 

 

5. How to set targets for staff  that is congruent with the overall goals and objectives of the department as well as the corporate vision.

 

 

 

6. How to manage performance of staff to ensure their productivity is enhanced consistently.

 

 

7. How to conduct an effective staff appraisal system and reward staff appropriately including the dos and donts  of staff appraisal.

 

 

8. How to conduct staff meetings effectively as part of the management process ensuring that staff work as a team to achieve the goals of the team/department.
